Dust Solutions company Reynolds Soil Technologies (RST Solutions) has taken out the 2011 award for best Environmental Management at the Gold Coast Business Excellence Awards at the weekend.

RST Solutions was presented with the esteemed accolade at an exclusive black tie gala dinner at Jupiters Gold Coast in November, having qualified for the overall award category after winning the Excellence award for October this year.

RST Solutions operations and technical director David Handel said the award was a great achievement for the team and an honour for the company to be recognised in an area it is extremely passionate about.

“We are thrilled to have won the overall award for Environmental Management,” said Mr Handel.

“Winning the October award was a great honour, to have taken out the overall award is a great achievement, and one we are all very proud of.

“To be recognised for environmental management excellence really is at the core of what we do and the solutions we provide.”

RST Solutions has more than 20 years experience specialising in total dust management, soil stabilisation and erosion, water and agricultural solutions for mine sites, haul roads, ports and land sites.

Now with headquarters on the Gold Coast and in Western Australia, RST has won contracts on mine sites all over Australia including the Hunter Valley NSW, WA, the Northern Territory and throughout Queensland.

RST’s reputation and success in Australian mines has also pushed them into overseas markets.
