Erosion Control

RST provides expert advice and technologies on erosion control for almost every conceivable application, including:

  • Embankments
  • Seed & fertiliser stabilisation

Specially formulated liquid additives are applied to affected areas to bind and stabilise the material to stop the effects of wind and water erosion.  Applications vary from project to project depending on site conditions and the nature of the project.

RST erosion control products assist clients by:

  • Providing a thorough  assessment of variables, such as material, topography, water supply, equipment requirements and intended uses
  • Identifying the problem and developing a cost effective, environmentally friendly solution
  • Helping manage the process as required by the client


RST’s Erosion Control, Soil Binding and Dam Sealing products are available in liquid and powder forms depending on the project’s requirements. Treatment is site specific and erosion control products can be used in conjunction with hydro mulching, seeding and fertilising.

Erosion control solutions are diluted in water and applied through a variety of equipment, including water cards, spray nozzle systems, agricultural sprays and backpacks. RST can advise or design spray systems to suit the application.

RST’s products are made in Australia under strict guidelines and standards governing sound environmental management practices.
