DESCRIPTION

RT15 Soil Stabiliser is a liquid soluble, environmentally safe chemical that is compatible for use combined with RST’s RT9 Haul Road Dust Suppressant. RT15 Soil Stabiliser is applied as part of RST’s Haul Road Management System to stabilise existing soft spots and areas where heaving is occurring. In haul road construction RT15 Soil Stabiliser improves the engineering qualities of onsite sub standard material to reduce the requirement to import better more suitable quality material.

The product enables the treated material to be compacted faster using less water, improving CBR strengths and increasing densities by reducing the void spaces between the soil particles which in turn reduces water’s ability to permeate through the treated material.

APPLICATION

RT15 Soil Stabiliser compliments standard construction practices in road construction and earthworks. Simply add the required quantity of RT15 into the water truck that is used for compacting the material.

For existing pavement rehabilitation rip the road to the recommended depth, break up all large clumps of material, apply the diluted product during the total process and blend and compact.
