DESCRIPTION

RT12 is a liquid soluble, environmentally safe Ionic Soil Stabiliser. RT12 is a formulation that alters the chemical and physical properties of the clay particles and lessens their affinity to water and reduces their ability to swell and shrink, especially during extremes in weather. By inducing the pumping action of water surrounding the clays and reducing water surface area, the particles realign closer together resulting in ultimate compaction and longer life road.

The product enables the treated material to be compacted faster using less water, improving CBR strengths and increasing densities by reducing the void spaces between the soil particles that in turn reduces water’s ability to permeate through the treated material.

APPLICATION

RT12 compliments standard construction practices in road construction and earthworks. Simply add the required quantity of RT12 into the water truck that is used for compacting the material.

For existing pavement rehabilitation, rip the road to the recommended depth, break up all large clumps of material, apply the diluted product during the total process and blend and compact.
